  1. Nice work!
I have a little question: can i create 2 separate WAN ADSL connections with different VCI/VPI and map one of this connections to fixed LAN port? I need it to use ipTV.

    1. I have never done it, but I don't think is possible on this router.
I suggest you to create a thread on openwrt forum ;)

  2. What would i benefit compiling this myself?

Also is this build missing something and does it actually work without bricking my modem? I have dd-wrt installed atm and the QoS is not working as expected...

Does openwrt or this build have QoS included and does it actually work?

    1. Hi Jaska :)

Yes, OpenWRT has QoS but there isn't in my build since I don't use it.

You can compile a new build with what you need(I posted a small guide on this blog but it's outdated, when I have time I'll post a new one).

As you can read abov,e in my build there are these packages:

      IPv4 support only
      DDNS
      UPNP+NAT-PMP
      OpenVPN 2.3.0
      Samba
      NTFS-3G 2013.1.13
USB mounts support (USB 2.0 with NTFS support only)

    2. Hi

Thansk for the answer, tried your build but couldn't get the wan interface to fetch public ip for the modem, tried all options. dhcp client did try to get the ip but no answer. dsl line was up though.

Maybe openwrt is too advanced for me so ill stick to dd-wrt instead as it works on fly :|

    3. Post your kernel and system log (use pastebin please) :)

  3. My ISP's ADSL connection is always on so there is no login required. DHCP did not work... Almost bricked my modem after fiddling around a bit and enabling auto dhcp on lan network...

This is how it looks in dd-wrt http://puu.sh/2eZNd/d4b857bf30

I could post sys/kernel logs to pastebin but i highly doubt theres anything useful info, but if you are interested in it i could give i another go tomorrow it's 03:31 atm.. no wait i mean I will test it today!

  4. I see. Well, could you paste me the logs anyway? My ISP is different from yours :)

  5. Hmm.. your persistance paid off...

Changed the settings, saved and then rebooted, after copying system log i noticed wan has obtained public ip.. really weird! But hey thanks for this and sorry for being impatient (wasted about 6h yesterday on this so got a bit frustrated)

Here's the logs if you still need them

  6. Would you please build the WBMR firmware with Bittorrent ,MiniDLNA with USB support ?

    1. I did some test with transmission (about two releases ago, maybe with the new version it works fine) and often the router became unstable (too much stress I guess, especially if you use an USB pendrive formatted in NTFS*old version too*).

If you really need it I can do it but you have to test it. I can't guarantee that it will be stable :)

      Let me know.
